THREAT ADVISORY: Commercial Burglary Alert Issued for DY8 Industrial Sector (March 2026)

The Threat: Active Targeting of Stourbridge Industrial Sites at Shift Change

West Midlands Police have issued an official alert regarding a commercial burglary at Titan Works on Old Wharf Road (DY8). The incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, 25th March 2026, at approximately 19:00 hrs. This specific timing is critical; criminals are actively targeting industrial parks, manufacturing facilities, and commercial worksites in the Stourbridge and wider Dudley borough just as daytime staff leave the premises.

The Vulnerability: Why 19:00 hrs is the Danger Zone

Industrial sites like those around Old Wharf Road are frequently targeted for high-value machinery and plant equipment. Striking at 19:00 hrs means criminals are exploiting the gap between daytime operations shutting down and the activation of nighttime protocols. Relying solely on perimeter fencing or unmonitored CCTV during this transition window gives thieves ample time to extract heavy goods. A passive alarm system is no longer a sufficient deterrent.

The ESP Solution: Proactive, SIA-Licensed Deterrence

Eagle Security Protection (ESP) provides BS7858-screened, fully SIA-licensed personnel to industrial sectors across the West Midlands. We close the 19:00 hrs vulnerability gap. Our GPS-tracked mobile patrol units and static manned guards provide a hardened, physical presence that actively deters criminals from testing your perimeter.
