Stay Safe, Be Safe

Eagle Security Protection always strives to demonstrate to our clients that we are proactive in an evolving security landscape and dedicated to promoting awareness at every level. We not only ensure our security officers are fully trained in ACT (Action Counters Terrorism) and SCaN (See, Check and Notify) principles, but also aim to educate our commercial clients, facilities teams, and the wider West Midlands community about proactive safety measures in public and private spaces.

Our organisation believes that effective prevention begins with vigilance and discipline. Through rigorous staff vetting (BS 7858), continuous counter-terrorism refresher modules, and close coordination with local law enforcement, we help commercial facilities, logistics hubs, and construction sites stay alert and prepared to respond calmly to any potential threat.

Members of the public and staff should always remain alert to the danger of terrorism and report any suspicious activity to the police immediately on 999 or via the national Anti-Terrorist Hotline on 0800 789 321. If your information does not relate to an imminent danger, you can also contact MI5 or submit an anonymous online report to Counter Terrorism Policing.

In the rare event of a firearms or weapons attack, UK Counter Terrorism Policing advises the following life-saving protocol:

Step 1

RUN

Escape if you can. Consider the safest options. Is there a safe route? Run if you can rather than surrender or negotiate. If there's nowhere to go, move to Step 2.

Step 2

HIDE

Find cover from gunfire. If you can see the attacker, they may be able to see you. Lock yourself in if possible, barricade the doors, and silence your mobile phone.

Step 3

TELL

Call 999 when it is safe to do so. Provide your exact location, description of suspects, weapons observed, and any casualties. Follow police directions calmly.
